Take Your Pick

The original church of St Martin-Le-Grand on the left here was old enough to have a mention in the Domesday Book. What would you do given the choice? Visit the 15th century (restored) church or the 20th century coffee house at the end of the street? Both? Neither?

  1. Not a fan of that particular chain of coffee shop so it would be the history tour please. Another brand of coffee shop and it could be a closer choice!

  2. I would take the historical church tour. I am so jealous of all the old buildings you have on your side of the pond. If something is 200 years old around here, it is ancient.

  3. I wouldn't normally go to Starbuck's unless there wasn't another coffee shop within a mile or so. :-)

  4. I don't drink coffee so the only choice is the church which is probably why I am in the area anyway!

  5. Are there other coffee shops? Something locally owned, perhaps? Let's visit the church then hop off to a place with some personality.

  6. Like many people I prefer to get my coffee from a locally owned shop, I want my small input to go into the local economy. That said I would go with the history and perhaps get a coffee later.
